A little about me and my path...
I was born and raised in Vancouver, WA with my loving mom, dad and sister. I found my love for yoga as a young adult in 2008 and started my home practice which I still carry on to this day. Some things stick, and for me, yoga was one of those things. I later moved to San Diego, CA where I met my late husband, Gerald Clark who really transformed my life. We went onto create great things together and his love offered the vote of confidence needed to move forward in life.
We had many times of getting rid of things, downsizing and following our dreams. The first was in 2011 when we left Corporate America, San Diego and we bought a travel trailer and traveled in the states. We got married and he trained me in Structural Integration also known as Rolfing in 2011 and we started to share our services to the community and with one another.

Later we moved back to San Diego, going back into Corporate lifestyle, I started my blog ArtisticVegan.com and worked in the evenings, and later published my first cookbook. He was so inspired he published his first book The Anunnaki of Nibiru and our lives really took a turn for the better. We left corporate and started offering Alchemical products which you can still find and he started doing podcasts and shows sharing his message. I began to edit his videos and it blossomed the inner nerd in me.
We later left USA completely, got rid of an entire storage unit of things, got a bigger travel trailer and left for Mexico in 2014, with dreams in our eyes and a desire to live more freely. It was the best thing we ever did for our marriage and for ourselves. I continued the blog, practicing yoga, working with bodywork and published my cookbook The Artistic Vegan Cookbook: An Alchemical Transformation and he published his second book The 7th Planet, Mercury Rising.
Some years later I took my Yoga Teacher Training 200 hours focusing on Vinyasa Flow. I also started a cooking channel and offered hundreds of cooking videos on YouTube. I'd occasionally do a podcast, collaboration or other things and later offered yoga videos too. You can see the channel here. The blog was featured in magazines and received awards. I later stopped editing for him and he went onto animation for his desire to bring his book into a screenplay.
Later, Gerald and I co-founded Gravity Body Academy, an online school dedicated to the art of Structural Integration and the Ida Rolf 10-Series. We then went on to hold hands-on training in 5 week intensive sessions.
When my husband passed away suddenly in 2020, my world came to a pause. I still maintained my healthy habits - thankfully, which kept me afloat. Along with family and friends who ensured I'd be okay, thank you all. Yet, I stopped blogging, I transitioned away from being a vegan, I just allowed myself a break to pause and go on my own healing journey. I went on a vacation for a week to a beautiful place called Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. I ended up staying for a year! Downsizing yet again - getting rid of another storage unit full of things and taking only the ess. If you've not ever done that, it can be hard but very cleansing and teaches you to not be so attached to "things."
I later moved up into the city of Oaxaca and published his autobiography with our love story in it. Living My Personal Legend and A Love That Lives On. It was my way of honoring him, what we shared, and honestly a very deeply healing project for myself and a way to capture our life together and the magic we created and the love we shared.
I then went onto India on a solo journey to heal my heart and further my yoga training. It was the one the best things I've ever done for myself. I immersed myself in an Ashram and received my 500 hour YTT in Hatha and Ashtanga, spend hours a day meditating and in turn healing my heart. Accepting what I couldn't previosly accept, and coming to peace with life and where I was at. After the yoga training I took a Sound Healing Course. I didn't expect that it would be as healing as it was, but the healing through vibration truly took my inner peace to a new level.

I later came back to Mexico, tried to transition to the states but just couldn't do it as my heart had been here for so many years. I am now happily living in Oaxaca, Mexico. I offer yoga classes online for free, premium classes or paid privates online. I also teach yoga locally on the weekends, offer bodywork and held my first training since he's passed in 2024. I continue online pursuits to try to keep his mission alive and my passions spreading.
From single, to married, to widowed to dating in another country - let me tell you, it's been a journey!
From Corporate America to bodywork - Structural Integration, to blogging, video creation, yoga teacher, to teaching Structural Integration, writing books, hosting podcasts and more - to our first woman's retreat this Spring - life continues to help me evolve into the woman I am today.
I'm thankful for each minute, each moment, each tear, each smile. Each opportunity to be here and hopefully inspire you to live your dreams too.
That's a little about me... thanks for stopping by!
With love,
Christa
