Hearts Flame Yoga | Yoga with Christa | Developing Your Practice

Picture
Hi friends and welcome to a new space where we can grow together in spirit. Where we can dive deep into our practice and shine light in our entire beings so we can shine forth brighter. I've been practicing consistently for 12 years and it is a true honor and joy to be of service on your yoga journey.

I was talking to my friend today about how it takes time to develop the practice. That's the beauty of the practice. Some teachers say it can take 10 years to master certain poses, it depends on each person. We're all so different and unique. I heard a teacher say recently it's not so much about the shape, or the asana but the journey that you take to get there, that's part of yoga. It's part of the process. That's why they say practice and all is coming. Keep practicing and it'll come.

The strength, the peace of mind, the balance, the inner compassion and humble attitude for the journey - my practice still stops me, I still get stopped because my shoulder or hip doesn't want to go that way but in time one day, it just happens, you have the strength, it's easy, you find the balance point and once you get it, you usually have it. So don't give up, keep practicing, be a kind person to yourself along the way, it's the journey of yoga. Through the practice we surrender and accept where we are at now.  You're doing great today and just where you are meant to be today. Namaste

With lots of love,
Christa
