11/2/2022 0 Comments My First Time in India - I went to Rishikesh, India for Yoga Teacher Training - Pre-Course UpdateNamaste, Hi sweet divine souls, I am so happy to be writing you from India. It's been a journey with a journey!! I have had amazing, beautiful experiences in India, fun celebrations, some culture shock moments, yet an easier time integrating with having lived in Mexico first. I’ve had fun surprises and omens so many times it's easy to loose count. I am feeling very blessed, a couple scary moments and have yes have had a sick stomach too. So it's been life - with highs and lows and I'm riding the waves the best I can. I have come for Yoga Teacher Training and to fulfill a long held dream since I first started my practice back in 2008. I arrived to New Delhi, India and was able to tour the hustle and bustle of the city. From there I went on a long wild journey to Srinagar, Kashmir which is near Pakistan!! I then felt so strongly to do yoga that I headed back to Delhi and went to Dehradun for the night and then made my way 3 weeks before my course started to Rishikesh, India. The first week was intense haha, I'll have to do a separate video and post about that. It was also so beautiful with such kind hearts and people welcoming me into their homes. Beautiful people here. The Ashram accepted me early and I was about to integrate into this new clean yogic lifestyle at my own pace with freedom to work along the way as well as explore. Rishikesh is called the Yoga Capital of the World and it's amazing. The energy is incredible as it's located near the Holy Mother Ganges River, for hundreds if not thousands of years people have practicing yoga and meditation in this area so the energy is elevated to say the least. People from all around the world are attracted to come here. I've also been blessed with celebrating a couple of holidays celebrating the light overcoming the darkness. And timely to publish this today, even though it was recorded a week ago, as it's the Day of the Dead - thanks to my ancestors and spirit guides for all of your help on this trip and making everything align more than once.
The journey has brought forth new spiritual revelations and deep healing. It's also brought up uncertainties, been highly humbling, yet also unexpectedly beautiful and a great reminder of what I'm really here for. Connection to Source! I was able to finish up the book for Gerald and I and our love story, and what a beautiful location to do it in. It's edited, has a book cover and is so close to be ready to launch. I have some more things to do, and I've just started my yoga course which is going to take most of my time and energy so I don't see it coming out until December, Universe willing! :) I look forward to sharing more about my journeys in India and the YTT course.
