What is Yoga Teacher Training like in India? My experience – Week 1 – Rishikesh

Hi dear sweet souls,

Namaste, Satnam. Great to be with you and share with you in life, love and happiness. I recently attended a 300 hour yoga teacher training in the beautiful Rishikesh, India.

I have a new video out that goes into detail over the first week, I recorded a video each week so you can see the different ways I felt and how it shifted as time went on. In this first video I share in detail what the day is like from sunup to sundown, what the schedule is like and what is entailed, some of the food we ate, as well as local footage from the town and explorations. Some of the topics we discussed in our Philosophy class and soulful questions you can meditate on too if you desire.

I hope you love this video. It was fun to edit it and look back. It already feels like such a long time ago, I am so glad I made the video and captured the way I felt as I laugh now looking back at how vulnerable, anxious and all the worries we go through and then see how I can do the same things outside of yoga training when it comes to change and growth. It is a part of life and we can choose how to navigate the waters of change, and ultimately overcome our insecurities, fears and doubts to step into our authenticity and be who are destined to be.
