FACE your FEARS – Journaling Prompts on Overcoming Self Doubts - Yoga Training in INDIA – Week 4

This is about the final video of the series on Yoga Teacher Training in India. Each week I recorded a video about the experience of Yoga Teacher Training in India. This was the final week of teaching, taking the test and
The first few weeks went pretty chill, I was feeling it, I was doing great and by week 4, everything boiled up to the surface and I had a lot of processing to do.
We did eye gazing and acknowledged one another’s pain and suffering, a beautiful practice, that in turn led to me bawling my eyes out. Have you ever tried this? It can be so beautiful, I recommend it.
By this week I started to feel the pressure to bring what I learned to the table and was feeling overwhelmed. I felt my inner child questioning my abilities. I went into a state of worry, of stress. It is normal to doubt ourselves. Can you relate? Can you think of times you have doubted your abilities? I cried this week a lot, I stressed a lot, I worried and wasted a lot of energy doubting myself.
I went into nature to call on my spirit guides and it helped me so much. Overall I dedicated my course to my late husband Gerald and my spirit guides, yet near the end I did call for some help.
What did I learn? I wasted a lot of energy on worry and it ended up working out fine. I learned that when we face our fears, we come out stronger.
How many times have you faced your fears and it was for not?
Trust yourself. Love more, live more, fear less.
My lesson is not to worry so much.
Trust the process.
Believe in yourself.
Try not to waste energy on doubting yourself, believe in yourself more. This can be applied outside of yoga to nearly anything in life.
The following questions can be used to go deeper within yourself. You can journal about these or use them as an opportunity to meditate. Set up a sacred space, light a candle, some incense or as desired, go somewhere quiet and safe. Turn off your phone or set it aside and go within. Journaling or taking some time to connect with your breath and then ask yourself these questions and see what is revealed.
Trust yourself, love yourself. We often question our abilities and don’t trust in a higher power or grace, and don’t trust in ourselves and our own personal power.
The people were the greatest rewards of this time. Developing soul connections that feel so deep and could last a lifetime. We met our soul family.
I am so grateful for the experience.
I do believe everything happens for a reason. That things happen in the right time for us all. It was divine timing that we all came together.
Yoga changed my life and continues to support me and I believe it can do the same for you.
We all have a unique energy within us. Shine forth and shine your life.
Be true to your path and to your higher calling.
